Product information:
While we have done our best to photograph and depict all of our products accurately, colours will vary from monitor to monitor. As a result we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display will show a true representation of the colours of all of our products. Fabric samples can be requested if you wish to confirm the suitability of a fabric before placing your order.

Carroll & Co. accepts all major debit and credit cards; MasterCard, Solo, Switch/UK Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta and Visa Electron processed via PayPal. After you place your order you will receive a copy of an order receipt by email, please print or keep this copy for your own records. This does not mean we have accepted your order. Once your payment has been approved and availability of any source materials has been confirmed (for example specifically requested Harris Tweeds), your order will be accepted, processed and shipped. All prices shown are in GBP sterling, and are inclusive of UK VAT at 20%.

All our products are handmade to order with a lead time of 2-3 weeks. In peak periods this may be extended. If you have an urgent order please contact us and we will endeavor to deliver sooner. When your order is received, Carroll & Co. will contact you via email and provide an estimate of the lead time for your item(s).

If you find that you need to cancel your order, please inform us by email at hello@carrollandco.co.uk as soon as possible. If you change/amend your order, you may find there are changes in delivery timescale and/or price of your items.

Refund and return policy for online orders only:
If you find that you are not happy with your purchase it is important that you tell us within 7 days of receiving the goods. Should you wish to return anything to us, our returns policy is set out below. We suggest a full inspection of the goods immediately upon delivery. If the goods received are faulty, we have a no quibble returns policy. Please contact us immediately by email at hello@carrollandco.co.uk so we can arrange to have the goods returned. We will then provide a replacement. We will pay the return delivery costs on any faulty items as well as the costs for delivering the replacement. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (14 days).

If you return goods claiming they are defective, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund via e-mail. We will process your refund as soon as possible and in all cases within thirty (30) days of the email confirming your refund. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If you change your mind for any other reason, we are happy to exchange items, refund or credit your account, provided the goods are returned to us within 7 working days of their receipt, in the original packaging and in a saleable condition. We regret that in this case we cannot refund original delivery and return postage costs. We are not responsible for return postage or packages that do not reach us. You are responsible for the returning items until we have signed for them as delivered to our studio and we are happy with the condition. Carroll & Co. will refund or re-credit on the original card that was used to purchase the items for any sum that has been paid by you for the items once they have been received at our studio within 30 days.

Right of Cancellation as per the Distance Selling Regulations
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive your order. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to Carroll & Co. by letter or email, giving details of the items ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. If you choose to exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning them to Carroll & Co. at your own cost. The items must be returned to our studio at the address below. You must take reasonable care to ensure the items are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. You are responsible for the returning items until we have signed for them as delivered to our studio and we are happy with the condition. Once you have notified Carroll & Co. that you are cancelling the contract and the items have been received by Carroll & Co. a refund or re-credit will be issued within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the items. However, the original delivery cost are non-refundable. If you do not return the goods as required, Carroll & Co. may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the items.

Please be aware that Carroll & Co. is unable to offer exchange or refund on items that have been specially ordered and made to a custom size. Specifically requested fabrics are not considered custom orders unless we inform you otherwise before the order is placed. However, specifically requested sizes outside our standard range will always be considered custom orders.
